Jody L. Pacyliak has always had a special love for animals. Growing up in a small town in western NY on a dairy farm she always had a variety of pets from rabbits, horses, goats, pigs or just a bucket full of frogs. Jody also has a great love of outdoors; she loves to canoe, kayak, and camp.

In high school and at college Jody was a dedicated athlete and excelled in basketball and soccer. After college, Jody worked in the human service field with troubled youth. She married Mike Pacyliak in 2001 and after the birth of their son in December 2004 she left her job to be a stay-at-home Mom. During this time she became a regular volunteer at the local animal shelter.

Jody has been actively involved in animal rescue for over 10 years; she specialized in the rehabilitation, socialization and training of severely abused or neglected dogs. Her knowledge, skills and love for animals prompted her decision to attend a NYS certified school to become a certified, professional groomer in 2006.

Upon receiving her Certificate of Completion for All Breed Dog Grooming and Shop Management, she rented space at the local animal shelter and opened her own grooming salon, “Pet DooZ -n- TattooZ”. The name came to her when she decided on offering I.D. Tattooing as one of her services. The spelling came from two very important guys in her life, her 15yr old Samoyed, Zepper and her 2 yr old son, Zayn. That's what the "Z's" represent. Demand for Jody’s expert grooming skills soon out-grew the space she was renting, so she built and opened a new shop at her home.
